SMS automation from your own number

Some customers never open Instagram and never install WhatsApp. They all read texts. Socavi sends follow-ups, reminders and campaigns by SMS from your own number, and the agent handles the replies.

Where SMS earns its place

  • Follow-ups to leads who went quiet on another channel.
  • Reminders before a booked meeting, so fewer people forget to turn up.
  • Campaigns to contacts who opted in, written by the AI in your tone.
  • Replies answered by the same agent, in the same Inbox.

Your number, your sender

Texts leave from your own Twilio account, not a shared one. Carriers register the sender, so the business named on the message has to own it. That also means your deliverability is yours alone, and you pay Twilio's rates directly with nothing added.

SMS is the one channel every phone already has.

Consent comes first

Text people who agreed to hear from you, and nobody else. Every campaign carries an opt-out, replies of STOP are honoured automatically, and the United States and India need a one-time sender registration that Twilio walks you through.

Setup

  1. Open Integrations and choose SMS.
  2. Paste your Twilio Account SID, Auth Token and number.
  3. Send yourself a test text.
  4. Pick your contacts and message, or add an SMS step to a workflow.

Questions

Do I need my own Twilio account?
Yes. Carriers register the sender, so the business named on the message has to own the account. It also keeps your deliverability yours. A Twilio trial is enough to test.
Can customers text back?
Yes. Replies come into the Inbox and the AI agent answers them, the same way it answers WhatsApp.
Which countries can I text?
Any country Twilio sends to. Some, like the United States and India, need a one-time sender registration (10DLC and DLT), done inside Twilio.
Can I text people who never opted in?
No. SMS is for contacts who agreed to hear from you, and replies of STOP are honoured automatically.
